Hey howdy hey, ya'll! I write you all bundled up in scarves and sweaters wondering why there's no sun outside. Winter is well on it's way, and it's an adventure adjusting! In the morning it's cold, in the afternoon it's hotter than it's been all summer, and in the night your joints hurt from the cold air. But yeah. We're just praying that we don't get sick!
This week we were able to participate in two baptisms of young women out here. Their names are Clara and Helen, and they're super sweet. The service was really sweet, and we made them some really cute little books with messages from everyone to remember the day of their baptism. We're hoping to work more with their families in the following weeks.
We've been running around a lot this week as well... On Tuesday we had work visits from the Sister Leaders, and I got to go visit their area. They are a lot closer to some huge cerros, which make ours look tiny. It was cool to see how much easier it is to teach with someone else that has more time in the mish, and that perhaps I know a few things. And my companion passed her test back here in our area with the other Sister, so that was relieving as well.
We are all getting very anxious around here to get to see our families this weekend.
Sorry... our email time got cut short today because we're going to the other side of the mission for Pday. Next week I'll try to be more insightful! Love you all.
