This week was an adventure of sorts. Between Hermana Mamani having training, fun bouts with bad food, and General Conference, we couldn't work a whole lot... so that was tricky. But here we all are pressing on.
General Conference was really hard to watch, not gonna lie. I got the themes of all of the talks, but by the time I translated everything in my head the speaker was on to something else and I could hardly figure out what to write in my notes. My poor brain hurts. It's interesting here. Everyone watches in the stake center, but a lot of people don't seem to realize that there are 5 sessions of conference. They only go to the Sunday morning session. We were able to have a some of our investigators attend, and that was really exciting. They all seemed to be moved by the messages of the Apostles.
For Sunday morning, Hermana Nelson was really missing her cinnamon roll tradition with her family. We went out the night before and bought piononos (like a cake roll with this delcious carmel goo called manjar) to have our own little tradition-like breakfast. Talk about trunky!
I wish I could leave something more meaningful here... but I'm truly at a loss. Send me some of your favorite quotes from conference. I'll love you forever. ;)
Les quiero mucho!
