I just wanted to let you all know that I have arrived safely to the Líma MTC. Our lot of 70+ missionaries pulled in at about 4am after losing some luggage and a missionary on another flight, so we're all rather worn out. The 8 hour flight was long, but the planes were exceptionally nice.
We have our first companions already. I'm with Hermana Haws from Sandy, Utah and she is a sweetheart. We are all bunked up 6 to a room with community bathrooms. The campus is green and gorgeous. The weather is bizarre: you can't see the sun through the smog, and it's humid and chilly. But it's definitely a nice reprieve from the heat of Arizona.
Today we were able to "sleep in" till 9am since we got in so late. We received giant gift bags with missionary tools, language helps, and filter water bottles. And we got our name tags! We are taking care of our Peruvian IDs and such. It's really weird to be the minority now language wise. I believe we start with classes to fix that later this afternoon. :)
